Upholstery doesn�t magnetize the same amount of
soiling as carpeting or area rugs, but it should be
vacuumed and cleaned frequently. We do not walk on
our furniture (except if there are children in the
home), the oily abrasive soils that distress carpets
are not predominant on your favorite couch or chair.
However, since we do spend a great deal of time
sitting, soil from our clothing and oil from our
skin can find their way to the same areas time after
time. This leads to destructive build-up of deposits
that, by the time they become noticeable, it may
have already caused permanent staining or
deterioration.
